Reviews
I purchased this book because I was just a little bit curious about the Italian painter Giotto. I did not want to purchase a serious monograph of his work. I was looking for a book that would serve as an introduction to his work. Nobert Wolf's "Giotto" succeeds wonderfully in its mission to provide an inexpensive, short introduction to one of the world's greatest painters. The book is ninety six pages long and is printed on good paper. The images are brightly printed and the English translation of Norbert Wolf's German text is easy to follow. All in all, a great bargain for ten dollars new or six dollars used. Highly recommended.
